When a metal product is loaded into a container and embarks on a journey across the ocean, it faces not only a bumpy road, but also a harsh environment of high salt, high humidity and drastic temperature changes. Countless foreign trade enterprises have encountered such pain: when the container arrives at the destination port, the customer unpacking the goods for inspection, only to find that the original smooth metal surface is covered with rust spots, and the corners are oozed with yellowish-brown corrosion marks. This kind of problem can lead to customer complaints, discount compensation, or the rejection of the whole batch of goods, destroying the trust of years of cooperation. The root cause of all this is the erosion of salt spray that pervades the sea.

Salt spray is a tiny droplet of chloride suspended in the ocean atmosphere. Under the disturbance of wind waves and ship navigation, seawater is stirred into fine fog droplets, which seep into every crevice of the container with the air. Only degreasing and rust removal treatment is required on the metal surface before construction, and no complex phosphating or passivation pretreatment is required, which significantly reduces the transformation threshold of the packaging line. The thickness of the dried coating can be controlled between 15 and 30 microns, which can ensure the protective effect without affecting the subsequent assembly or functional testing. It is worth noting that the BS-400 series has excellent environmental performance - it does not contain aromatic hydrocarbon solvents such as benzene, toluene, and xylene, VOC emissions are far lower than national standards, and the smell of the workshop is mild, which improves the working environment of front-line employees. It also meets the requirements of international customers for green manufacturing in the supply chain.

In order to verify the practical protection ability of the BS-400 series, Hanke Lab simulated a typical shipping route from the port of Ningbo in China to the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands. During the 45-day salt spray and wet-dry cycle test, the surface of the aluminum alloy coated with BS-430 was intact without any pitting or rust formation; while the unprotected control group had obvious corrosion on the 7th day. In the more stringent neutral salt spray test, BS-480 was sprayed continuously on the carbon steel substrate for 2000 hours, and the film only showed slight discoloration.
